I still remember the time when the optometrist first told me I needed glasses. My Asian parents were so disappointed. Perhaps it was because I "failed" the eye exam. They said I was the first person in the entire bloodline to ever need glasses. I also dreaded the fact that I would always be reliant on an external device just to be able to see. As a result, I decided to not wear them as a coping mechanism. When I went back to the optometrist, they informed me my vision had gotten worse, and it was due to me not wearing the glasses because one eye was doing all the work. At that point, I knew I had to cut my losses and accept what was fact. Fast forward many years, I discovered an online retailer selling frames with lenses for $100, but also a promotion of $100 off on the first purchase. I spent hours on the site trying to pick the one I wanted, and was very satisfied with my purchase. Glasses became my favorite piece of accessory, but it is commonly known they are very expensive. However, I discovered that the online retailer with the $100 promotion code can reused and abused. I just had to pay the shipping cost, so I proceeded to buy nine pairs from them. Now, I cannot even imagine a day without wearing glasses. I can still see fine through one eye, but I almost feel naked without them. It is almost like they have become one with my head and are part of my face. It is just like how the 1MORE Fit Open Earbuds S70 are so comfortable that it feels like it is a part of my ears. The 1MORE Fit Open Earbuds S70 came in a brown box delivered through Amazon. Inside the box was the S70 along with the 1MORE SonoFlow Pro previously reviewed by Jonathan Kwan. The package arrived safely at our offices in Calgary, Alberta, Canada in great condition with very minimal amounts of damage to some corners of the box. We have already previously reviewed the Fit Open Earbuds S50 and Fit SE Open Earbuds S30.
When looking at the 1MORE Fit Open Earbuds S70 retail box, the description that comes to mind is "minimally elegant". The design is mostly negative space with some words on the top left and bottom left as well as a picture on the right. The contrast between the white and gray areas adds a simple but pleasant amount of complexity to the design. On the top left, the brand name 1MORE is written. This name shows up again at the bottom left as well. Below it, the product name, 1MORE Open Earbuds S70, is written in a smaller font. Further below that, some features of the product are listed in an even smaller font. All the words are printed in a glossy silver color. On the right, in the gray area, there are two pictures of the product. The one on top is the earbuds tangled together, and the bottom one is when they are in the case. On the side and back of the box, there are more features and specifications listed.

Upon opening the box, you are presented with the S70 on a white tray. The earbud case is wrapped in a plastic film with a guide on using the earbuds for the first time. Below the tray, there is the instruction manual and a card for contacting technical support. These two items are sandwiched in the middle between two cardboard housings on the top and bottom. The bottom housing contains a 26cm USB Type-C to USB Type-A cable.
