It is always interesting to see how a little guy challenges a big guy. In a true David versus Goliath fashion, smaller guys may not win if they only rely on strength. Sometimes they need to be smart and agile to fight larger opponents. Being a low profile CPU cooler, the MasterAir G200P is simply not meant to compete in raw cooling performance against larger air coolers with 140mm fans. Being able to fit into any computer case is really the selling point of this product. All in all, the MasterAir G200P is well-designed and well-built. The thick fan mounting brackets are strong enough to secure the fan and to protect the fins. There is not a whole lot of metal on this CPU cooler, but all the fins are made good use of. This is what is referred to as the "precise combination of airflow and heatsink" by the Cooler Master. Most importantly, as a low profile CPU cooler, the installation procedure is pretty straight forward. I like the fact there is no need to use any longer reaching screwdriver for installation. According to my test results, the cooling performance of MasterAir G200P is acceptable even for a relatively high-performance CPU. The only thing is the noise level is a little high when the fan is spinning at full RPM. Again, considering its compact size, a little noise is nothing, right? As for the retail price, the Cooler Master MasterAir G200P is about $45 USD at press time. It is not too expensive in my opinion, and from a compatibility standpoint, it can deliver. As well, to make it look cooler, you can always set the RGB fan to blue, right?
