After adjusting to my new early morning sleep schedule, I began to get used to waking up early. Understanding how consistency was important to having a good night sleep, I continued using this sleep schedule and found myself feeling a lot better in the mornings. Continuing with the importance of consistency, the Cooler Master MasterFan MF120 Halo is a fan with very consistent airflow. The performance of this fan is not mind blowing, but the RGB feature of this fan, to put simply, is astonishing. There are some drawbacks regarding the RGB LED lighting though; mainly there is no dedicated software to make this fan truly shine to its full potential. On the positive side, it does not depend on a proprietary header. The physical fan itself is beautiful, but not having software to control it aside from motherboard software holds the fan back in the sense of general aesthetics. This is a very small problem with a simple fix to it. Aside from the lack of a dedicated software for RGB LEDs and maybe adding braided cables, I have no other complaints. The fan itself functions and performs reasonably well with regards to airflow. The build quality is great and looks like it will last. At the end of the day, the MasterFan MF120 Halo is a good fan with a very aesthetic design. Currently, the Cooler Master MasterFan MF120 Halo comes as a single fan for $22 USD or as a three-pack with the controller for $65 USD. Comparing this to other RGB LED fans, the price point is in quite reasonable. What you will get is decent performance and great looks while knowing it is coming from a reputable manufacturer. If you have the available cash and want to spice up your PC, the Cooler Master MasterFan MF120 Halo could be the choice for you.
