Cooler Master MasterLiquid Core II 360 White Review (Page 4 of 4)

Page 4 - Conclusion

Looking at the Cooler Master MasterLiquid Core II 360 White, we can see Cooler Master focused on improving some worthwhile aspects. For one, the overall appearance is an improvement, especially with its infinity mirror combination water block and vibrant ARGB fans. This is a clear step up from its predecessor. Secondly, it is one of the easier coolers to start with out of the box. There is sufficient tubing length and pre-installed fans to make for a smooth installation process. The included CryoFuze thermal paste also means you can move this to a second system without needing additional supplies. Finally, the performance speaks for itself, as this cooler can keep up with other high performance coolers at a sensible price. Speaking of which, the Cooler Master MasterLiquid Core II 360 White offers this complete package for $100 for the 360mm variant, which is laudable. With that said, there are still some cut corners to keep in mind. For one, the daisy-chained fans may offer easier cable management, but its proprietary header means if you need to swap out even one of the fans, you will need to replace the full set. Furthermore, the pump lifespan is short and uses a 3-pin voltage control header. However, the biggest qualm is the audible operating noise from the pump and fans in both idle and load situations. The cooling may be capable, but the MasterLiquid Core II 360 makes itself known when it is working. Overall, I am pleased with everything Cooler Master has brought to the table at this price bracket, but I think they should address some of these issues to truly make it a deal.
