DeepCool LD240 Review (Page 4 of 4)

Page 4 - Conclusion

AIO water coolers are almost always a solid choice when it comes to providing accessible high-performance cooling, and the DeepCool LD240 is no exception. The LD240 further provides many helpful features when it comes to cooling your CPU. The build quality is good with aluminum and copper chosen for the right components. The pump performs well, while the screen and components of the system look and feel great. The tubing leading away from the pump to the radiator is braided, providing a quality feel. The two Velcro straps on it helps to provide some tubing management. The seven-segment display on the pump and the ARGB lighting capabilities provide additional customization and aesthetic touches. The screen features important information that is helpful to get a quick glance at, like temperature, power consumption, and load data. The LD240 is feature-packed and performed well in our tests. The cable for the cooler was long enough not to have to stretch it too far for each plug, unlike the LD360, and its noise emissions were noticeably better due to having one less fan. However, similar to the LD360, there is no extra thermal paste included. The extra thermal paste would have helped to re-install the LD240 in the future or even give a refresh of the applied thermal paste. The DeepCool LD240 is priced at $100 USD, which is a competitively priced product compared to other coolers with similar features. Overall, the DeepCool LD240 is a great cooler at a good price.
