The Epomaker Magcore65 Lite is definitely a great entry contender when it comes to inductive keyboards. The packaging is nice and simple, offering sufficient safety measures and accessories to better the user experience. The Magcore65 Lite has a plastic case that only comes in black, a good base for most keycaps. The lighting options are quite appealing, despite not having shine-through keycaps. I did enjoy the PBT keycaps that were included, and it was cool to see the PC keycaps as an accent. I appreciate that Epomaker provides extra keycaps if you want to get rid of the purple accent. In terms of software, the Magcore 65 Lite uses Epomaker Magcore65 Lite Driver, which simply works through a browser. This software allows you to rebind keys, customize your lighting settings, set up macros, and utilize the inductive switches’ full potential with options like enabling quick trigger. The switches inside the keyboard are Epomaker Core switches. The typing experience was quite nice, and offered a nice medium tone due to the good usage of foam and materials. The battery life of the Magcore65 is quite good, estimating it to last the average user about a week with RGB LEDs on when used for 3 hours a day. Upon opening the keyboard, I found a nice and simple design with a good usage of foam and silicone to fill the case. In terms of the gasket performance, I did find it to be rather stiff compared to other gasket keyboards I have used. At a price of $80 USD, the Epomaker Magcore65 Lite is a solid price for an entry-grade inductive keyboard.
