The Epomaker Nex Lite is presented as a basic gaming mouse with some differentiating features that are not normally found at this price point. The physical result is a universal right-handed shell in shape and size for medium-sized hands. Buttons are easily accessible with audible feedback. In terms of connectivity, the Nex Lite can operate in wired and wireless modes, and there is a charging dock to keep the battery topped up. The other addition is the inclusion of an OLED screen on the dock and the mouse, which means users can get immediate feedback about their current settings and battery life. The web utility is acceptable in providing a proficient level of customization. In terms of performance and use, the budget nature of the Epomaker Nex Lite is easier to identify with the PixArt PAW3311 sensor underneath. While it is usable in casual gaming situations, there are observable flaws like spinning out in quick movements and jitter at higher sensitivity settings. The high lift off distance is also unfortunate and cannot be changed. The slick shell material benefits from some grip tape, which Epomaker thankfully provides some. Finally, its battery life is an unimpressive eight days at five hours per day before the low battery warning. It also takes over three hours to get it back to 100%. Overall, the Epomaker Nex Lite is an acceptable starting or economical option. At the time of review, the Nex Lite has an MSRP of $35 for any of their colors. This is a competitive price for what you get, but I think Epomaker could have provided a bit more refinement in this mouse's actual capability and feel.
