The Epomaker TH80 V2 Pro is definite a great contender when it comes to 75% mechanical keyboards. The TH80 V2 Pro offers a plastic case that comes with three different colors, has a solid build quality, and comes with tools to better customize your keyboard. Our Black unit is nice and has a unique aesthetic with the textured pattern on the keycaps. The keycaps are also semi-translucent, making the RGB LED lights illuminate your desk quite well. The TH80 V2 Pro uses Epomaker’s web software, making for a simple experience for the user. There is no downloads required to better customize your keyboard. Inside the case, we find a gasket design with gasket socks on the edge of the plate. This offers a good amount of bounce when typing. Given the flexible nature of the mounting style, Epomaker places a silicone pad in the bottom case to not only fill out space for a less hollow sound profile, but also keeps the PCB from bottoming out. One of the biggest standouts is the 10000mAh battery designed to last for over 200 hours, but of course, your mileage may vary. Some small gripes I have with the TH80 V2 Pro are the switches. Putting aside my distaste for silent switches, the experience was still a bit scratchy despite being factory lubricated. At a price of $78 USD at press time, the Epomaker TH80 V2 Pro is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a 75% keyboard that comes with a slick tiny LCD screen and long battery life.
