About AIDA64 Engineer
AIDA64 Engineer has a hardware detection engine unrivaled in its class. It provides detailed information about installed software and offers diagnostic functions and support for overclocking. As it is monitoring sensors in real time, it can gather accurate voltage, temperature and fan speed readings, while its diagnostic functions help detect and prevent hardware issues. It also offers a couple of benchmarks for measuring the performance of individual hardware components or the whole system. It is compatible with all 32-bit and 64-bit Windows editions, including Windows 10 and Windows Server 2016.

Since our SSD review benchmark results are presented in alphabetical order, first up on the list are results from one of our favorite benchmarking programs, AIDA64 Engineer. Just to note, AIDA64 Engineer is a full synthetic benchmark. Unlike full synthetic motor oil, this usually does not always carry a good connotation. While it is not a representation of real life performance (Such as how fast Photoshop opens), it does provide valuable insight into performance between different drives and different controllers. As you can see in our graphs above, the OCZ RD400A 512GB was by far the fastest SSD tested in AIDA64 here at APH Networks. The NVMe RD400A came in at 2633.8MB/s peak in the linear read benchmark, while the quad RAID 0 based OCZ RevoDrive 350 480GB posted a 1814MB/s peak, and the Kingston HyperX Predator PCIe 480GB came in third at 1431.2MB/s in the same benchmark. A similar story is repeated for Buffered Read and Random Read. The tested random access time was 0.02ms, which is among the lowest. The rest of the comparison results against all the other drives can be seen in our graphs above.
