About AIDA64 Engineer
AIDA64 Engineer has a hardware detection engine unrivaled in its class. It provides detailed information about installed software and offers diagnostic functions and support for overclocking. As it is monitoring sensors in real time, it can gather accurate voltage, temperature and fan speed readings, while its diagnostic functions help detect and prevent hardware issues. It also offers a couple of benchmarks for measuring the performance of individual hardware components or the whole system. It is compatible with all 32-bit and 64-bit Windows editions, including Windows 10 and Windows Server 2016.

Like all the other APH Networks reviews, the first test was performed using AIDA64 Engineer. As you can see from the first figure above, Linear Read (Begin was tested to be 96.4 MB/s, Linear Read (Middle) was 141.2 MB/s, and Linear Read (End) was 141.3 MB/s. Comparing with other devices in the figure, the linear read speed of the OLALA iDisk ID100 64GB needs time to warm up. In fact, the low linear read (Begin) surprised me when I first saw this result. I had run the test several times to make sure the results were legit. From the figure, it was also easy to see that this flash drive featured the biggest difference between the begin and middle linear read speed. The random read and buffered read data rates for this flash drive were139.7 MB/s and 110.7 MB/s, respectively. The average access delay was 1.08 ms for the OLALA iDisk ID100 64GB. It seemed these results were not very impressive compared to other flash drives we have tested in the past. One explanation is that this product is not optimized for maximum data rate, since the key feature of this the OLALA iDisk ID100 64GB is to provide iPhone and iPad compatibility.
