Crystal Disk Mark 6.0 is in the spotlight. Just a bit of background information; higher capacity drives tend to perform a little better in these tests. The ability of a controller and flash memory to deliver high IOPS will provide huge benefits to the score as well. The Patriot Viper VPN100 512GB is rated at up to a whopping 700,000 IOPS read and 480,000 IOPS write. Looking at the read and write results of all four sections, the VPN100 512GB had one of the highest sequential read speed results here at APH Networks. Otherwise, its sequential Q32T1 write, 4KiB Q8T8 read and write, and 4KiB Q1T1 read and write came out to be quite comparable against the SX8200 Pro 512GB. The VPN100 held a slight edge against the competing ADATA drive though. I will let you make your own comparisons in our list of SSDs in the graphs above.
