If you know me, you may know I used to play quite a bit of League of Legends. Over time, my enjoyment of the game has both grown and fallen. As of right now, you could call me the typical ARAM player. Something I have found quite interesting is that despite not having much of an interest in the game anymore, I have found myself enjoying pro play a lot more. I am not sure what it is, but I have personally found myself being quite invested in the players' stories and their relationships with other players. Watching documentaries about players has been one of my pass times as of late, as they explore the details of what made them the player they are today. From players who seem to be destined to always fall short of glory to those who have a legacy to uphold, all of these players have the goal of winning the World Championship. Personally, I have found myself a few players who I believe to have some of the best stories in League of Legends history. Aside from Faker, I have begun to take a liking to two players named Deft and Keria. I will not bore you with the details, but something crucial to my documentary watching experience has got to be the headphones I was using throughout. Audio is truly something that can make an experience spectacular. This week, we will be having the pleasure of experiencing Turtle Beach's entry level contender to the Stealth lineup, the Stealth 500. Will the Turtle Beach Stealth 500 be able to satisfy both my documentary watching and gaming needs? Keep reading to find out!

Today's review unit of the Turtle Beach Stealth 500 arrived from Turtle Beach's distribution center in Elwood, Illinois. The box was delivered using the FedEx Express service in adequate condition. The box was decent in size, being filled with paper to help cushion the retail box. The delivery was sufficient, but there is still room for improvement.

The Turtle Beach Stealth 500 comes in a nice box using the Xbox white-and-green aesthetic. This makes sense, because this headset is designed for the Xbox, but compatible with pretty much everything else too. For starters, the front of the box shows the Turtle Beach logo alongside the name of the headset, “Stealth 500” at the bottom. Features such as the wireless Bluetooth are displayed on this face of the box. Of course, plastered on the center of the box is a big image of the headset itself. The back of the box speaks more towards other features. I like the simplicity of this box, as it is nice and clean while providing an adequate amount of information. On occasion, boxes may be overfilled with unnecessary information such as pro players saying this is their favorite peripheral because of some sponsorship. All of these features are really nice, but we will see how they actually perform later on in this review.

Before we continue, here are the specifications for the Turtle Beach Stealth 500, as specified from the manufacturer's website:
