XPG Levante 360 Review (Page 4 of 4)

Page 4 - Conclusion

After having the XPG Levante 360 running in my computer for a while now, I start to understand why pretty much every computer component has RGB LEDs nowadays. My motherboard does not have native ARGB LED support, so I used the included controller to light up my PC. I have to say, sometimes it is fun to use a physical controller instead of software to change the ARGB LED lighting. I really like how the three RGB LED fans are synchronized for different effects. In my opinion, three synchronized fans are more astonishing than just two fans, which I think is a solid reason why I prefer a 360mm AIO radiator cooler over a 240mm AIO radiator cooler. In all seriousness though, a bigger radiator can deliver better cooling performance. According to my tests, the cooling performance is solid, just like how the 240mm version of this cooler, the Levante 240, has proven itself in the past. I have no doubt this product can work with the latest high-performance CPUs for years to come. As for noise emissions, the Levante 360 also performs really well, which seems the pump noise problem we experienced with the Levante 240 is not an issue here. The tubes are sleeved, which is a welcomed feature for improving the look and durability of this product. The installation process was straightforward, although it may take some trial-and-error to hide those wires perfectly. As an Asetek OEM unit, this is no doubt a quality product. Overall, the XPG Levante 360 is a well-designed and well-built all-in-one liquid cooler. My suggestions for improvement include a metal backplate rather than a plastic backplate, and include a separate tube of thermal paste rather than just having it pre-applied. At press time, the XPG Levante 360 is priced at $140 USD. Considering it has a 360mm radiator, three 120mm ARGB LED fans, comes with a lighting controller, and performs well, this is an all-in-one liquid cooler priced mostly in-line with the competition for the discerning enthusiast.
