Gigabyte GeForce GTX 760 2GB Review (Page 6 of 13)

Page 6 - Benchmark: BioShock Infinite

BioShock Infinite is a first person shooter developed by Irrational Games, and published by 2K Games on March 26, 2013. The latest iteration of the BioShock series is based off the Unreal Engine 3, and comes with an excellent command prompt based benchmarking tool out of the box. The Ultra DDOF setting is a DirectX 11 benchmark. However, while when set at Very High, BioShock Infinite reverts to being a DirectX 10 game, so the results are not directly compatible. As you can see in our graphs above, as expected, the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 760 2GB handily whooped the Radeon HD 7870 (After all, the Radeon commands less dollars from your wallet). However, when it comes to minimum framerate, the GTX 760 seems to drop off a little lower. I have rerun the tests multiple times to ensure this is not a one time lag spike event, but each and every time, the numbers came out to be pretty consistent. As such, they are made official.
