From PC Mag: OpenAI is opening up access to its ChatGPT-4 Turbo model, allowing anyone with a paid ChatGPT subscription to use the latest model from the Microsoft-backed company.
GPT Plus, Team, and Enterprise buyers are getting access, and API access for developers will continue to be supported.
"When writing with ChatGPT, responses will be more direct, less verbose, and use more conversational language," OpenAI said in a Thursday post on X.
Previously, GPT-4 Turbo was only accessible to developers or those with Copilot for Microsoft 365 subscriptions, which are geared toward businesses paying $30 per person a month.
OpenAI has released five versions of GPT-4 Turbo, according to the firm's website. The four most recent GPT variants were trained on data up to December 2023, while the first GPT-4 Turbo version and a number of GPT-4 models were only trained on data as recent as April 2023.
