Epomaker HE68 Lite Review

I am currently sitting in the corner of the room, and nobody knows I am actually writing a review. For all of you who can recognize the meme template, I really hope that there is an image in your head right now. You may think that writing in a loud party environment might be bad for my focus, but I surprisingly do well with loud noise. Functionally, it is just extra loud white noise to me. Oddly enough, it is giving me a strange burst of inspiration, especially since I had no clue what to write for this introduction. So, I decided to simply embrace the moment and draw from what is around me. Sometimes, going back to the basics -- with just a bit of flair -- can be the best approach. That is exactly the philosophy behind the Epomaker HE68 Lite. The HE68 Lite is a budget friendly Hall effect keyboard that offers advanced features while going back to the basics when it comes to keyboard design. Sometimes simplicity is all you really need. Will the Epomaker HE68 Lite be able to impress me with its specialized features? Keep reading to find out!

Our review unit of the Epomaker HE68 Lite came alongside the HE80 in tightly wrapped plastic that covered many layers of bubble wrap underneath. The box was shipped to us here in Calgary, Alberta from Shenzhen, China via a YunExpess. The shipping process was decent, having a few scuffs and marks on the package. I was not worried about the condition of the product itself, as there was no noticeable damage.

The Epomaker HE68 Lite’s box design is relatively modern, using blue, white, and black. The front displays the HE68 Lite on the right side of the box, having Epomaker branding on the top left. The bottom displays the product name alongside some features. The side of the box shows some specifications. Personally, I do not mind this, as I appreciate the lack of clutter, and the simple design is easy to navigate.

The quality of the packaging is better than most manufacturers’, as the foam usage surrounds the majority of the keyboard.
