From Tom's Hardware: Topping the list of new HP products is the HP EliteBook 8730w. It sports a 17" display, which offers over 16 million colors, an Intel quad-core processor, 8 GB of RAM and new Nvidia Quardo FX cards with up to 1 GB of RAM. Joining this laptop are the HP EliteBook 8530w and HP EliteBook 8530p, both of which include a 15.4" diagonal display, Intel Core 2 Duo processors and 8 GB of memory.
HP is also offering up for existing DreamColor LP2480zx Display owners the new HP DreamColor Advanced Profiling Solution. This optional profile, said HP, allows users "to custom calibrate color settings beyond the built-in factory pre-sets. The solution includes a customized DreamColor colorimeter and calibration software." The new monitors HP is introducing include the HP LP2475w 24" Widescreen LCD Monitor and the HP LP2275w 22" Widescreen LCD Monitor. Both offer a 1000:1 contrast ratio, wide viewing angles, height adjustment, tilt, swivel and 90-degree pivot rotation. The LP2475w hosts a resolution of 1920 x 1200 and has a 102% color gamut, while the LP2275w has a resolution of 1680 x 1050 with a 92% color range. Pricing and release dates for these products, as spelled out by HP, are that the HP EliteBook 8730w Mobile Workstation is expected to be available later this month at the starting price of $1699. The HP EliteBook 8530 series is expected to be available in September starting at $1499. The HP LP 2275w 22" Widescreen LCD Monitor is available today and the HP LP2475w 24" Widescreen LCD Monitor is expected to be available in September for estimated starting prices of $459 to $649, respectively.
