While I have lived alone for quite a few years now, I remember some mistakes I made early on. The first one was me leaving the stove on while not being in the kitchen. There were a couple times where I would put a pot on my stove top with water to boil for a meal. However, I would walk upstairs or away from the stove to do work and forget about it until I started smelling something. Unfortunately, I have damaged several pots because of this. It is not like I intentionally forgot and I even set timers on the stove for me to go back downstairs after a certain time. However, this was sometimes ignored because I could not always hear the alarm. As I am often playing music upstairs or in the middle of a game, the beeping noise can get covered up. Thankfully, I have since forced myself to set an alarm on my watch, which always snaps me back to reality. To be honest, I should not make it a habit to leave the kitchen with my stove or oven on. However, what if you want to listen to music, but still be able to hear the rest of your environment? Today we have a solution in the form of the SOUNDPEATS Clip1. Created as a true wireless Bluetooth option that clips to your ear and lets you hear the outside world while still pumping music, how well does the Clip1 work? Do they still deliver an enjoyable listening experience? Let us read on to find out!

Today's review unit of the SOUNDPEATS Clip1 arrived from our local Amazon warehouse located in Rocky View County, Alberta, Canada. It was shipped with Amazon's own shipping courier and came in excellent condition with no bumps or bruises on the corrugated cardboard box. I would be more surprised if it were damaged given how close our APH Networks location in Calgary, Alberta, Canada is to the warehouse. This was the only SOUNDPEATS product inside.

Unsurprisingly, the SOUNDPEATS Clip1's retail box follows a similar formula to other SOUNDPEATS products, at least in terms of design. The box is all white with a small SOUNDPEATS logo on the top left corner and in the background. In the foreground, there is a close-up of the Bluetooth earbuds inside. On the bottom right corner is the product name. The bottom left corner shows the different audio streaming certifications, including the support for LDAC. Around the box, there are more features and specifications, but the box is clean and free of words at the front.
Before we continue, I have grabbed the specifications and features from the manufacturer's website for your reading pleasure:

The SOUNDPEATS Clip1 is saddled in a white shell inside the retail box. The carrying and charging case holds the two earbud clips. To note, there are stickers covering the charging pogo pins inside out of the box, so be sure to remove these before you use the Clip1. Under the white shell, there is a short USB Type-C to Type-A charging cable. Finally, there is an envelope containing a small user manual and a sheet of nine SOUNDPEATS panda stickers. I know it is a small thing, but I personally appreciate this level of whimsy with the stickers.
