From DailyTech: You can place this one firmly in the rumor column for now, but multiple sources at AndroidAndMe and TmoNews have confirmed the existence of a dual-core Android-based HTC smartphone for T-Mobile, codenamed "Pyramid." The existence of a dual-core smartphone from HTC should come as no surprise. Ever since Qualcomm introduced the ARM-powered 1.2 GHz Snapdragon (MSM8260), rumors have persisted that HTC would develop an Android device utilizing the processor. Back in August, this mystery device was codenamed "Glacier," and was said to triple the performance of Sprint's HTC EVO 4G. The latest news regarding the Pyramid comes from a "regular source who has provided accurate information about several Android announcements in the past," AndroidAndMe said. Meanwhile, "a new, separate source also corroborated the information," and a source at TmoNews did as well. While AndroidAndMe reports the device could come to T-Mobile some time in May, TmoNews cited Q2 as a possibility. While we don't know much about the Pyramid spec-wise -- other than the fact that it will sport the 1.2 GHz Snapdragon, feature a 4.3-inch qHD display, and support for HSPA+ -- we do know a thing or two about the MSM8x60 chipset.
