From DailyTech: Apple's much talked-about iOS game controllers didn't appear at its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) last week, but today, one of them gets a face. Kotaku released a blurry photo of one of the new iOS game controllers. It's made by Logitech, and it fits over the iPhone so that it turns into a portable game console with a gamepad. While Kotaku can't say where it got this image, it said the gamepad seen is definitely authentic, and that we'll likely see it released this fall when iOS 7 launches with third-party controller support. Last week, Apple posted guidelines for iOS game controllers on its developer site. The guidelines are vague, with a few drawings that show a standalone game controller with dual analong sticks and another controller that fits over your iPhone, allowing you to see your screen (like the one we see here). Apple mentioned that any games made for the iPhone with a controller must be capable of being played without it. View: Article @ Source Site |
