Apple's 'universal control' feature in MacOS Monterey makes dual-screen work seamless

From CNET: Apple said Monday it's introducing a new feature that will let you move content between a Mac computer and more than two devices, including an iPad, with a single mouse and keyboard.

Apple announced the universal control tool at its Worldwide Developer Conference, a multi-day virtual event that kicked off on Monday. The feature is included in MacOS Monterey, Apple's latest operating system that will power its Mac computers.

If you need to finish an illustration on your iPad, for example, you'll be able to move content to your Mac laptop or iMac desktop computer if you set the devices next to one another. You can also drag and drop files between an iPad and Mac computer without having to set up the tool.

MacOS Monterey is currently being tested and is expected to be available in the fall.
