From PC Mag: Verizon is making some changes to its Disney+ Premium perk for myPlan (cellular) and myHome (broadband) subscribers.
The current Disney+ Premium bundle, which includes Disney+ (ad-free), Hulu (with ads), and ESPN+ (with ads), is no longer available for $10 per month. Existing customers can keep the bundle, but they’ll be charged $15 per month starting April 17. For new customers, though, the revised pricing is effective immediately.
It's not all bad though, since the carrier is now offering a similar ad-supported Disney+ bundle featuring the same three streaming services. Both new and existing customers can get this perk for the same $10 a month. The only effective difference from the previous plan is that Disney+ now comes with ads.
Verizon notified customers of the price change and the new ad-supported tier via email, adding that “if you are on a trial or promotional rate right now, you’ll still get to enjoy that special price. The new rate will take effect after your offer has ended.” These details have also been added to the FAQ section of Verizon’s support page for Disney+ add-ons.
