From PC World: Microsoft has announced that Microsoft 365 users must enable multi-factor authentication (MFA) support by February 9th, otherwise they will not be able to log in to the service’s admin center.
“Implementing MFA in the Microsoft 365 admin center significantly reduces the risk of account compromise, prevents unauthorized access, and safeguards sensitive data,” Microsoft writes in a statement quoted by BleepingComputer.
Similar rules have already been introduced for both Azure and Entra, and the idea is that all Microsoft services will eventually require MFA.
