As we progress as people, the world progresses too. Whether that be in new technology or new medication, the world is always moving. The ASUS ROG Strix Scope NX TKL Moonlight White is also part of the progress. The overall build quality was quite rigid due to the aluminum backplate. I like the general design of the keyboard, having a bit of accented grey in both the keycaps and partially brushed aluminum backplate. ASUS opts to use their very own ROG NX Switches in the ROG Strix Scope NX TKL Moonlight White, making for a more premium typing experience, close to their Cherry MX equivalent. The switches are more than satisfactory, being quite smooth and having a good actuation point. ASUS continues to innovate with the long Ctrl key, making it easier to press for gamers. Where this keyboard really shines is the RGB LED lighting. As the keyboard is mainly white, light is easily reflected and dispersed around, making it glow. The addition of the light underneath adds a nice under glow effect. Armoury Crate is definitely necessary to fully customize the appearance of the keyboard. This is not necessarily a bad thing, as it is quite intuitive to use. ASUS has done a very good job in creating an aesthetically pleasing keyboard. Of course, there are always some things that can be made better. An issue I found on my personal unit was some paint chipping on some of the keycaps. The white keycaps make this quite noticeable. Some of the legends on the keycaps were also printed slightly off center, which is something not overly noticeable. Something more noticeable when typing is the Costar stabilizers' rattle, but this is inevitable given the design. Despite this, the usage experience is still quite smooth. Something nice to have would be a wrist rest, as I feel the typing experience would feel much better given the flatter angle. Having PBT rather than ABS keycaps is also preferred. None of these problems are a deal breaker for me, but your preferences may vary. At a price of about $120 USD, the ROG Strix Scope NX TKL Moonlight White is fairly priced for what is has to offer. Overall, the ASUS ROG Strix Scope NX TKL Moonlight White is a very appealing keyboard for gaming-focused users.
