With the VERSATI go AM310G2 and FLEXI go BA311L, AVerMedia has introduced a pair of excellent streaming products that deliver in their own segments. For the microphone, the VERSATI go AM310G2 is a compact but capable unit. Its aluminum construction is sturdy with no signs of weakness around the shell. It has a good set of inputs and outputs and an easily distinguishable mute indicator. It is also compatible with most major operating systems. In performance metrics, the VERSATI go AM310G2 executed well, showing excellent characteristics and versatility in use for different applications. As for the mounting arm, the FLEXI go BA311L may look like any other unit, but its pair of aluminum arms are strong, and the C-style clamp can secure to any surface. Its use of a universal mount thread and generous load capacity means you can use it with more than just microphones. Furthermore, it has a very flexible movement that works for either low- or high-profile setups. I also appreciate repositioning fastening handles to adjust easier. On the other hand, there are some things you should keep in mind with both products. The VERSATI go AM310G2's background pickup may not be preferable in noisier environments. Furthermore, I was unable to get the software to keep its settings outside of the AVerMedia Streaming Center software. The FLEXI go BA311L is also very secure. so you will have to loosen the sockets before making even tiny adjustments. Finally, I would have liked to see a simpler naming scheme for their products in the future, although this might be a personal preference. At the time of the review, the VERSATI go AM310G2 is available for $70, while the FLEXI go BA311L is $100. There may be cheaper options for both, but these products live up to their name in providing a truly adaptable experience.
