Are there things that might smell good but taste terrible? For example, many soaps and candles may have excellent fragrances, but if you take a big chomp out of them, you will be spitting it out shortly after. I do wonder why people make candles that smell like apple pies and pumpkin spice, but they cannot make them taste good. When I was little, I was always entranced by the smell of coffee. My parents are not big coffee drinkers, but they do have the occasional cup, usually accompanied with breakfast or dessert. One evening, when I was around four years old, I asked my dad what it tasted like. He finished stirring his cup with his teaspoon and scooped out a small spoonful. Excitedly, I stuck it in my mouth before immediately spitting it out and rinsing my mouth with water. My dad had yet to add any cream or sugar, so my first experience with coffee was a very unfortunate one. This is why, to this day, I am not a major fan of coffee. One could argue that fruity teas are a tease too, especially as they are not sweet compared to their smell, but at least it does not leave a bitter taste. Today, we have the be quiet! Light Loop 360mm, the latest all-in-one CPU cooler from be quiet!. I may not have the same inclinations to taste this cooler, but it looks like a nice one with addressable RGB lighting on the fans and the block. With its attractive looks, will it succeed in its performance, or will it leave a bad taste? Let us read on to find out!

Today's review unit of the be quiet! Light Loop 360mm arrived from a Newegg distribution center in Ontario, California, USA. This is why we have a Newegg-branded box. This traveled with UPS and their Standard ground service to our APH Networks location here in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Thankfully, it arrived in excellent condition with no dents or scratches to be concerned about. Inside, everything is packaged well, while the be quiet! Light Loop 360mm is wrapped in shrink wrap to protect the box from surface marks and scratches.

Like other be quiet! products, the Light Loop 360mm has a clean retail container. It is fully black with the product in the middle. The be quiet! logo is located on the top right corner while the product name is underneath. A scaled down image of the product is in the middle of the box for everyone to see. It is refreshing to see the clean box with so little wording, although this is par for the course for this German company. Around the sides we do have a few more features and specifications written out, but they keep it small and out of the way.

Before we move on, I have grabbed the specifications from the manufacturer's website for your reading pleasure:

As with most all-in-one coolers, everything is held in a single cardboard carton inside the retail container. Most of the components are wrapped in plastic bags to prevent damage to the components. I appreciate the white cardboard cover be quiet! uses to sleeve the radiator as opposed to a clear plastic bag, as this should be more durable and prevent the radiator from getting dinged up while it is in the box. The be quiet! Light Loop 360mm supports most modern sockets, including Intel's LGA 1851, LGA1700, LGA1200, and LGA115x, as well as AMD's AM4 and AM5. All the necessary mounting equipment is included for these sockets and contained in a resealable bag. A bottle of coolant is also provided for topping up the radiator, which is something be quiet! has included with most of their recent AIO coolers. Three be quiet! Light Wings LX 120mm PWM high-speed fans are contained in their own bag. A combined PWM and ARGB hub is also provided to control the fans and light together. Otherwise, there is some documentation included to help users with the installation process.
