be quiet! Light Loop IO LCD 240mm White Review (Page 4 of 4)

Page 4 - Conclusion

Unlike our dollar store challenge, the be quiet! Light Loop IO LCD lineup is clearly targeting the premium market. Thankfully, there are many reasons to pony up for this top-tier cooler. For one, all expected aspects are found here, including the braided rubber tubes and standard size 240mm radiator and fans. The primary difference is at the center, which is the 2.1" IPS LCD screen on top of the water and pump block. This can be both an aesthetic and functional perk, depending on how you choose to use the screen. The addressable RGB LED lighting on the fans and around the water block accentuates the premium nature. Another aspect I appreciate is the single cable out of the block that places additional cables behind the motherboard tray. Installation is straightforward with sufficiently long tubes and pivoting points for easy maneuverability when mounting the unit. The accessible fill port and included additional coolant are another bonus we have seen with be quiet! liquid coolers. In use, the be quiet! Light Loop IO LCD 240mm White performs well, keeping my CPU temperature low under full load. Better yet, even in these conditions, the cooler stays calm and quiet compared to the rest, which makes it almost inconspicuous to use. IO Center provides a comprehensive set of options for configuring the cooler. There are still some areas that could be improved, however. For one, there could be better protection for the radiator when it is in transit, so the fins do not get bent. I also would like fans with higher MTBF, especially for a premium product. Finally, be quiet! can further improve IO Center for stability. At the time of the review, the 240mm Light Loop IO LCD is $220 to $225, depending on the color. This is priced at the higher end, but thankfully, it deliver on performance and features, making the be quiet! Light Loop IO LCD 240mm White a top-tier option.
