As I was traveling throughout Korea and Japan this summer, I realized how inconvenient our convenience stores are in Canada. The convenience stores in both Korea and Japan offered such amazing deals to the point where I do not understand what went wrong here. When you compare the likes of 7-Eleven, the differences are so drastic. Being able to buy proper meals in convenience stores for less than $5 was something that truly blew my mind away. When you compare $5 pasta that is good to a bag of chips you can get here, it feels unreal. It might be weird to say, but one of the biggest highlights of my trip was a convenience store called FamilyMart. At first look, I thought it looked like a bootleg 7-Eleven. When I realized there was a FamilyMart at every corner, I thought it was worth a try. It was crazy to think that a convenience store could actually be convenient and be able to provide everything you need at a reasonable price. FamilyMart truly did it all. You know what also does it all? The be quiet! Light Wings White PWM High Speed. After reviewing the Silent Wings 4, I am excited to review another series of be quiet! fans after observing the amazing performance they can achieve. Will the be quiet! Light Wings White PWM High Speed 120mm and 140mm fans be able to satisfy my need for aesthetics and performance? Keep reading to find out!
Today’s review unit of the be quiet! Light Wings White PWM High Speed 120mm and 140mm was shipped to us here in Calgary, Alberta, Canada via UPS Standard from be quiet!’s office in Walnut, California, USA. This cardboard box was handled with care, as this box came in relatively good condition with no noteworthy bumps or bruises. I was not too concerned about the shipping due to the good condition of the retail box.
The be quiet! Light Wings White PWM High Speed 120mm and 140mm both come in an almost entirely black box, being a good contrast against its white and orange logo. Both boxes share the exact same appearance, aside from the Light Wings White PWM High Speed 140mm have a bigger box than you may expect. The front of the box displays be quiet!’s logo on the top right, three fans, and of course, the name of the product itself, being Light Wings White. Below this, we have the claim, “Impressive lighting, superior cooling”. Additionally, each respectively model will state the size and model type below. The left side of the box tells us more about be quiet! and how they are a premium brand with the majority of their development process done in German headquarters. On the right side, we have some specifications and a QR code leading directly to their site with more information. According to Google Translate, the site that popped up for me was in Swedish. After clicking “produktinformationen”, I was then led to an English site with some product information. Surprisingly enough, there is no information on the back of the box, rather it displays the back of the fan.

Our boxes of the be quiet! Light Wings White PWM High Speed 120mm and 140mm arrived as three packs. Within the box were three fans each and a box containing the accessories. The fan fit snug into the box, having the wire wrapped nicely inside the cardboard. The accessories contained screws, 3M tape, an ARGB control hub, and two papers regarding warranty and a user manual. The minimalist and organized packaging was very nice and clean. The claim of a premium brand shines through in the packaging methods.
