The be quiet! Silent Wings 4 has a very understated look, not sporting any RGB LEDs, but RGB LEDs do not mean everything even in 2022. The all-black exterior is something I can see people seeking after, as there is a market of people who do not want RGB LEDs. For any individuals with this mindset, I advise you take a look at the Silent Wing 4. The initial set up was quite simple with a single 4-pin connector that plugs directly into your motherboard. The true beauty of no RGB LEDs is the lack of an additional cable to manage. Speaking more towards this fan’s design philosophy, the Silent Wing 4 has amazing performance. I was surprised when testing to see how much air this fan could push. This is incredible, as this performance was comparable to other high-performance fans such as the SilverStone Air Penetrator AP120i PRO. The noise outputted from the Silent Wing 4 was relatively quiet considering the fact the maximum RPM is 2500. The noise produced was absolutely acceptable for the performance. At the end of the day, Silent Wings 4 does its job well. be quiet! innovates on this fan with its fitting options as well. These options do have a very niche use, but I am excited to see what comes from it. The fan does not try to extend beyond what a fan is, rather focusing on its ability to produce excellent airflow. Currently, the be quiet! Silent Wings 4 sells for about $24 USD, which is a reasonable price. If you are looking for a decently quiet and high performing fan, the be quiet! Silent Wings 4 is an excellent choice.
