Cooler Master MasterMouse MM520 Review (Page 4 of 4)

Page 4 - Conclusion

The Cooler Master MasterMouse MM520 definitely meets my expectations of a good gaming mouse. In this case, I think the ergonomic design of this mouse weighed more heavily than its aesthetics. It is not a fancy looking mouse, but it is really comfortable to use. On the topic of performance, the PMW3360 optical sensor provides up to 12000 DPI sensitivity, which is probably more marketing than anything -- but at least under 5000 DPI, the tracking performance is promising. I found for both gaming and productivity work, its on-the-fly DPI changing ability could help me to find suitable settings for different tasks quickly. On the other hand, the MM520 also features higher suitability for hard working office users. This mouse turns out to be the most comfortable claw grip mouse I have ever used. I would like to give most of the credit to its ring finger support. There are three major features closely related to the pleasant experience of using this product. Firstly, the ergonomic design allows all the fingers to be well supported by the mouse. Being comfortable is very helpful when you need to hold the MM520 for a long time at work. Secondly, the switches have a good feel when clicking them. Thirdly, the rubber textured grip provides just enough gripping force without being too sticky, although having rubber grip on the left side would be nice. When you are not holding the mouse, the fully customizable RGB lighting looks cool in a dark environment. Generally speaking, the Cooler Master MasterMouse MM520 is a well-designed gaming mouse that has both good ergonomic design and high performance characteristics. The MasterMouse MM520 is tagged at around $50 USD at press time. You will not get a braided cable, but if you want a comfortable mouse with a great sensor that will not break the bank, the MM520 is a solid choice to behold.
