Page 4 - Conclusion
The Corsair HS35 v3 Wireless comes to us as an economical offering that features wireless capabilities and quick setup. In a physical sense, the headphones are notably impressive. Despite using plastic and fabrics that are expected for this price point, the HS35 v3 Wireless feels durable and lightweight. The suspended headband and properly padded cups make the unit comfortable to wear for extended periods. The Corsair HS35 v3 Wireless is also easy to use with accessible controls, a flexible microphone, and a dongle that can connect to a USB Type-A or Type-C port. There is also Bluetooth connectivity if you do not want to use the USB transmitter. Other appreciated features include a plug-and-play setup and the rotating and tilting ear cups. In daily use, the HS35 v3 Wireless has solid wireless performance in range and its 30-hour battery life. As for its audio performance, this pair of headphones is acceptable for gaming, as all frequency ranges are audible and the HS35 v3 Wireless is tuned to let users hear the necessary cues clearly. The microphone performance is also quite adequate, especially for a gaming headset. However, the sound quality is also where we start seeing compromises. In critical listening, users will start hearing deficiencies in all regions, with a sound that tends to be drier and lacking midrange details. The overall soundstaging, while providing width, lacks depth. The only other thing is the slightly longer charge time of three hours. At the time of the review, the Corsair HS35 v3 Wireless is priced as low as $50, which is impressive given its wireless capabilities. As such, this headset works well at this price point, and while there are trade-offs, the Corsair HS35 v3 Wireless is priced well to be a strong economical option.
