About ATTO Disk Benchmark
The ATTO Disk Benchmark performance measurement tool is compatible with Microsoft Windows. Measure your storage systems performance with various transfer sizes and test lengths for reads and writes. Several options are available to customize your performance measurement including queue depth, overlapped I/O and even a comparison mode with the option to run continuously. Use ATTO Disk Benchmark to test any manufacturers RAID controllers, storage controllers, host adapters, hard drives and SSD drives and notice that ATTO products will consistently provide the highest level of performance to your storage.

Following up next are our usual ATTO read and write tests. ATTO is an often-quoted benchmark because it is easy to use and accurate. For the most part, it is a favorite among reviewers, and I have grown to embrace it as much as the next for the last little while. ATTO uses easily compressible data, so compression-heavy controllers will perform very well here.
As far as the Phison PS5021-E21 controller on the P3 Plus is concerned, well, here are our results. The Crucial P3 Plus 4TB peaked at 6860MB/s read and 5890MB/s write. Under the read curve, it was marginally slower, but otherwise basically identical to its 1TB variant. This meant it had the third highest ramp up speed among any compared SSD, only behind the Lexar Professional NM800 PRO 2TB and Crucial P3 Plus 1TB. Its peak speed was 100MB/s slower than the P3 Plus 1TB though.
Under the write curve, the Crucial P3 Plus 4TB continued to deliver solid ramp-up speed, delivering very similar performance to the P3 Plus 1TB and much more expensive ADATA Legend 960 1TB. It even leapt ahead of the Kingston FURY Renegade 1TB at 64K and above. The WD_BLACK SN770 NVMe SSD 1TB was faster between 4K and 32K though. Compared to the P5 Plus 1TB, well, there was simply no comparison -- the P3 Plus 4TB had higher numbers at every transfer size in both read and write. Overall, the Crucial P3 Plus 4TB's performance is excellent in this test, thanks to the fast PCIe 4.0 interface and highly optimized firmware.
