We run PassMark PerformanceTest 11 to evaluate four different areas of our system; coming down to the CPU, 2D Graphics, 3D Graphics, and RAM. It takes a somewhat different approach in obtaining results compared to other programs, which is why we like to use it. PassMark Performance Test 11's memory benchmarking tool is the only test in our setup that takes memory capacity into account, but it does not seem to account for anything above 16GB from our past experience. The memory benchmarking tool did account for the extra bandwidth, so faster RAM generally performed better, although the Crucial Pro Overclocking CL32 DDR5-6400 2x16GB had no issues keeping up with the DDR5-8400 kits. We also observed a measurable performance difference between the DDR5-8400 kits and most DDR5-6000/DDR5-6400 kits for the 2D Graphics and 3D Graphics Tests. Other than that, the CPU test was generally reasonably close between all tested memory.
