The Epomaker RT100 Pro has many features, with some unique ones to consider if you plan on buying it. Epomaker achieved their design goal of making this keyboard retro-themed, but also maintaining a neutral look to allow it to fit into a non-themed desk setup. The stems in all the switches are factory lubricated to ensure a smooth and pleasant typing experience. Likewise, the stabilizers are also factory lubricated to prevent any rattling. The keycaps are made of PBT to provide long-lasting durability. Combining the Epomaker Sea Salt Silent Switch V2 switches and the sound-dampening materials, the keyboard produces a very pleasant, creamy, thocky, and muted sound. The attached screen lets you personalize the keyboard with a picture or a short animation. You have the option to remove this screen in order to add the missing keys found on a full-sized keyboard. Some other notable features include the three additional media keys, volume knob, 5-pin hot-swappable switches, and full N-key rollover support. The battery life on the keyboard is also great. An area for improvement would be to use double-shot PBT keycaps rather than dye sublimation to help with the legend misalignments. I would also appreciate more storage on the screen to allow for longer animations. In terms of software, there are a few changes Epomaker can make. The first would be either removing the AI helper or improving it so that it provides useful information. The load times for navigating between pages when browsing community created work require optimization. At press time, the keyboard can be purchased from the Epomaker website for $120. This is a good price, considering the uniqueness and sound quality of the keyboard. Overall, the Epomaker RT100 Pro is a pleasant-sounding retro-style keyboard with a screen to allow for personalization.
