The Epomaker x AULA F65 Pro is a great contender when it comes to budget 65% keyboards. The F65 Pro utilizes a plastic build that comes in two different colors, has decent build quality, and equipped with good shortcuts to control the keyboard. The F65 Pro utilizes its LEDs well by having shine through keycaps paired with translucent switches. While there was no software, the keyboard shortcuts were sufficient in accomplishing tasks from toggling connection interfaces to changing the backlighting. The backlighting itself was quite appealing, being very vibrant and have a decent selection when it came to customization. The pre-lubricated LEOBOG Icesoul switches offer great performance and typing experience. Inside the case, we find a gasket design with gasket socks on the edge of the plate. This offers a good amount of bounce when typing. Given the flexible nature of this mounting style, some foam and silicone are used to aid in the sound profile, while doubling as a safety mechanism for the PCB. The sound profile using these switches was quite clacky, due to the keyboard build as a whole. If you are thinking of disassembling the keyboard, I would advise not to, as the disassembly is quite difficult and requires specific tools. This keyboard does offer good performance nonetheless, but if you were looking to modify it, I would look at other options. The average user will have no issues though. Some improvements that can be made include upgrading the cord to be braided for some extra durability. At a price of $66 USD, the Epomaker x AULA F65 Pro is definitely an excellent entry contender for anyone looking for a budget 65% keyboard with wireless capabilities.
