A PCMark score is a measure of your computer’s performance across a variety of common tasks such as viewing and editing photos, video, music and other media, gaming, communications, productivity and security. I was fairly surprised by the mixed results between PCMark's Vantage tests with regards to the performance of G.SKILL's F3-17600CL7D-4GBPIS kit running at 1333MHz -- the results were mixed between our tested RAM in question against the reference Patriot Extreme Edition memory. The delta function in scores generally had us come down to the logical conclusion that the differences are not significant. Having higher memory bandwidth on the G.SKILL F3-17600CL7D-4GBPIS with increased processor base clock posted noticeable performance gains over both kits running at 1333MHz, as shown in our graphs above. However, most of them were not significant enough to regard as an actual performance advantage in comparison to the 2.6% linear clock base adjustment threshold mentioned earlier in this review.
