Gigabyte AORUS M2 Review (Page 4 of 4)

Page 4 - Conclusion

After using the Gigabyte AORUS M2 as my daily driver for about a week, I can say that I was satisfied with its performance. The M2 served its purpose as a budget gaming mouse. The mouse itself was still comfortable especially if you prefer a fingertip or claw grip. Of course, the form factor is excellent in providing pleasant performance in such a small package. The Pixart 3327 sensor was chosen perfectly for this mouse, being a nice budget friendly option that performs well for many gamers. The sensor was responsive and jitter-free in my experience and was a joy to use. The general use of the mouse was very fluid and was fun to experience. The main problem that I had with this M2 was actually something that came with the mouse, which is its software utility. This is something that needs to be improved to be more coherent and fluid for the end-user. To sum everything up, the functionality of the M2 is great with its low cost, excellent sensor, and great switches. Some drawbacks I found aside from the software were the vulnerabilities of accidental button presses or accidental scrolling. These flaws could be brushed off by some users, but I know some people could become frustrated by how easy it is to press a side button or unintentionally scroll. I believe this is a step in the right direction for Gigabyte and that they will cease to impress us further with their new products. At the price of $30, this mouse is a budget friendly alternative from a well-known brand to the gaming mouse market.
