Similar to UL's PCMark 10, 3DMark is a favorite among enthusiasts and reviewers. It has been a part of the APH Networks' battery of standard benchmarks since our start. The latest iteration of 3DMark is available in several presets, so we included Fire Strike Extreme, Sky Diver, Cloud Gate, and Ice Storm Extreme; each in decreasing of GPU dependency for our RAM tests. To give our test platform a little more comprehensive results, I enabled the Extreme option in our tests where possible. As you can see in the graphs above, the three tested RAM remained pretty close, with the largest difference only in the Ice Storm Extreme. The Gigabyte AORUS RGB Memory DDR4-3200 2x8GB was ahead of the pack in half of the tests. Bandwidth played a small role in these tests.
