Like its predecessor, the Gigabyte G1.Sniper Z87 features Nichicon MUSE ES audio grade capacitors, which we have discussed on Page 3. The onboard audio is Creative's Sound Core 3D, which includes Creative's CA0138 audio processor. As you will see from the results below, Gigabyte is taking this very seriously, even on a mid-range motherboard. For our RMAA tests, I have set the output to 24-bit/48 kHz, which produced excellent results.
