About AIDA64 Engineer
AIDA64 Engineer has a hardware detection engine unrivaled in its class. It provides detailed information about installed software and offers diagnostic functions and support for overclocking. As it is monitoring sensors in real time, it can gather accurate voltage, temperature and fan speed readings, while its diagnostic functions help detect and prevent hardware issues. It also offers a couple of benchmarks for measuring the performance of individual hardware components or the whole system. It is compatible with all 32-bit and 64-bit Windows editions, including Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2.

As always, our first set of benchmark results presented on the table are data obtained using AIDA64 CPU tests. Version 5.00 (The latest release at press time; which can be downloaded from our Downloads page) results are comparable to recent previous releases, as confirmed by the developer themselves. It is quite interesting how the products compare, because we have a varying combination of speed, capacity, and latencies. As far as how their performance compares, all of them are extremely close to each other. I redid all the tests given our slightly revised test platform. Overall, the Kingston HyperX Savage HX324C11SRK2/16 2x8GB either tied or took the lead in all benchmarks, as it was the fastest memory of the group. That said, AIDA64 does not gain much from stepping up your memory speed, with the exception of the PhotoWorxx results.
