Kingston DataTraveler microDuo 32GB Review (Page 7 of 8)

Page 7 - Benchmark: HD Tune Pro 4.60

About HD Tune Pro 4.60

HD Tune is a hard disk utility with many functions. It can be used to measure the drive's performance, scan for errors, check the health status (S.M.A.R.T.), securely erase all data and much more.

Our final benchmark is HD Tune Pro 4.60, which unfortunately does not provide very nice or fancy independent graph outputs in particular, so I had to edit my screenshot to make it a bit more publishable for a review. Again, like our HD Tach results, the line trends to be flat. While the magnitude itself may differ, this is only due to the different algorithms used in testing, but the overall characteristics are consistent in practice. Our final thing to note are the access times of the drive. From the HD Tach, as reported on the last page, the time was around 0.4ms, and from HD Tune Pro, we get a time around 0.481ms. While not exactly the same, it is somewhat close. Otherwise the results are pretty self-explanatory.
