The Kiwi Ears Belle has shown itself to be a solid contender for a set of IEMs for daily use. They are very light and by all appearances quite durable. I found that they were well suited for on-the-go listening, and they quickly replaced my previous earbuds. While subjective, I found the aesthetics of the Belle to be another strong point. The textured black metal backplate contrasts nicely with the exposed metal bezel and connects smoothly to the resin body. The ergonomics of the Belle were comfortable during periods of extended wear, and the passive isolation is up to the job, especially when audio is playing. The cable was excellent, and I did not find any flaw with it during the review process. The sound quality of the Belle is very good for this price point, delivering a warm, well-articulated sound with a slightly recessed but acceptable treble. The Belle tackled most songs I listen to on a daily basis with decent layering and frequency separation. It was only when I went to test it with far more complex tracks that it started showing cracks with congestion. The Belle is likewise up to the task for simpler tracks. When it comes to cleanness, it only starts showing noticeable cracks with handpicked songs. The cohesiveness is a strong point for the Belle, where the single dynamic driver produces a smooth, coherent sound. At time of writing, the Belle is for sale on the Kiwi Ears website for $30 for the base model I tested. The 3.5mm with mic and USB Type C with mic variants are $32 and $34, respectively. With features like the detachable two-pin cables, individually matched drivers, and CNC-machined metal backplate, this pricing places the Belle as a competitor in the affordable IEM market, only $5 to $10 more than many direct competitors. For a buyer valuing build quality and cable flexibility over pure sound-per-dollar, this price is very fair. Overall, the Kiwi Ears Belle is a strong contender for anyone looking to enter the world of IEMs on a budget without sacrificing build quality, sound, or versatility.
