Similar to UL's PCMark 10, 3DMark is a favorite among enthusiasts and reviewers. It has been a part of the APH Networks' battery of standard benchmarks since our start. The latest iteration of 3DMark is available in several presets, so we included Fire Strike Extreme, Sky Diver, Cloud Gate, and Ice Storm Extreme; each in decreasing of GPU dependency for our RAM tests. To give our test platform a little more comprehensive results, I enabled the Extreme option in our tests where possible. As you can see in the graphs above, all of the kits remained pretty close, with the largest difference only in the Ice Storm Extreme. The Patriot Viper 4 Blackout DDR4-3600 was once again in the middle of these results. Memory frequency played a role in these tests, albeit not necessarily a huge one.
