I was actually surprised to find out that Calgary did have a Chick-Fil-A of its own for a while at the airport, but it closed down quickly. From review comments, it seems most people had high expectations like the American stores and were letdown by the execution. In some ways, this reminds me of my experience with the Patriot Viper V380. Starting with the positives, this headset dons its gaming styles without inhibition. Build quality with this headset is quite solid with a sturdy frame holding the whole thing together. Its soft foam and PU leather is comfortable to wear, but this is also complemented by the V380's light design. I personally did not experience any fatigue while wearing them. When we move to the software, it too is a usable utility. However, there were several weaknesses that appeared when we used the Viper V380. First of all, the audio quality was a mixed adventure. Its frequency reproduction was understandably V-shaped, but each region lacked clarity and definition. It struggled in more complex music too. It lacked cleanness and I heard an electronic whine at maximum volumes. Another area that could have been improved upon was its mute function that only worked with the utility running. The microphone also did not stay in place very well as it often reverted back to a more straightened position under its own weight. At $90 USD, the Viper V380 is priced about as expected when you take into account the standard RGB tax. It is a bit difficult to recommend the Patriot Viper V380, but if they are able to improve on these points for their next iteration, I think Patriot will have a solid headset on their hands.
