As I have mentioned in the introduction, I hope this review can be helpful for someone who is looking for a nice CPU cooler. After a few days of using the Reeven Ouranos RC-1401, I found it is actually a decent CPU cooler that is worth recommending. First, it has a 140mm PWM fan. I believe a big fan does not only pushes more air to improve cooling performance, but it also generates less noise in the process since its speed does not need to be as fast. You can also mount another 140mm fan if you desire to. As for the heatsink itself, the thicker top fin and the arrangement of heatpipes are welcomed features, and the rest of the fins are firmly attached to the heatpipes. The copper base is plated with nickel, which prevents oxidation. The overall build quality is good. The installation experience was not difficult at all. Note, you need to have a screw driver around to get the job done, since only the wrench is provided in the package. It is worth mentioning that due to the slim structure design, there is no interference with the RAM. This feature is important if you do not want your RGB RAM to be blocked by anything else in the computer case. According to our actual cooling performance tests, the Ouranos RC-1401 turned out to be competitive in terms of the cooling and noise level against a cooler of a similar category. All in all, the Reeven Ouranos RC-1401 is a well-balanced product with a $53 USD price tag. I think the price is reasonable for a nicely built CPU cooler with a 140mm fan.
