From PC Mag: In a step forward for cross-platform play in virtual reality, HTC and Valve have decided to allow users of the competing Oculus Rift VR headset (owned by Facebook) to buy and download games and apps through the HTC Viveport store.
Until now, Oculus Rift users have access to a range of titles from both Oculus' own storefront and the Steam store. But the opportunity to do some comparison shopping between Steam, Oculus' storefront, and the Viveport will always be welcome, as well as presenting the possibility of more cross-platform experiences going forward.
