From PC Mag: TikTok is opening its Effect House beta to all creators, designers, and developers around the world.
Launched in pre-release last fall, the online hub equips users with tools and resources required to design and develop new augmented reality effects for the platform.
"Whether you're teleporting into new worlds with Green Screen or freeze-framing with Time Warp Scan, creative effects empower creators to express themselves, entertain, and share stories through a wide array of engaging and immersive formats," the company said in a Tuesday blog announcement.
To date, effects published by more than 450 artists like Laura Gouillon, Allan Gregorio, and Grace Choi have been used in 1.5 billion TikTok videos and garnered 600 billion views.
