While the 1MORE ComfoBuds Z True Wireless will not solve all your sleeping problems like how I cannot actually fix your car but can help along the way, how well will these earphones do its job? I will say as well as earphones can get. To start off, it comes in the correct form factor. The ComfoBuds Z True Wireless are some of the most compact, lightweight, and low profile true wireless earphones I have ever seen, which makes them as minimally distracting as possible when they are inside your ears, and you are trying to get some sleep. The inverse V-shape sound profile is unique and unconventional, but appropriate given the context. AAC support is a welcomed feature for those who have an Apple iPhone and want the most out of their Bluetooth audio connection. It even comes with an app that can send you different soothing sounds along with an automatic on/off timer for those who prefer something like the sound of rain rather than your favorite music tracks. If you are worried about getting an ear infection having them in your ears every night for an extended period of time, the ComfoBuds Z has antibacterial tips to keep that at bay. These 1MORE earphones also offer a good and consistent Bluetooth wireless connection. Other things I like about the ComfoBuds Z is its compact matte white charging case, which itself can be recharged via a USB Type-C connection. The tested battery life of 3.2 hours was about what was advertised at 3.5 hours. What you will not get with these specialty earphones are microphones for calling or integrated phone controls, but given its ultra-compact form factor and specific application, I think it is justifiable to not have them. I would like to see aptX support though. For about $80 at press time, the 1MORE ComfoBuds Z True Wireless is every bit a niche product, but if you want a pair of in-ear monitors specifically to help you sleep, this is something properly designed to do what it promised to do.
