Did the ASUS ProArt Z890-Creator WiFi successfully carry on the product line's ethos of a high-end feature set along with a professional appearance? I would say so. The ProArt Z890-Creator WiFi is a good-looking motherboard, colored in various shades of monochrome with flat gold lines across sleek heatsinks to give it a classy look. The heatsinks also work well, keeping the components within a good temperature range. When it comes to the technical details, the ProArt Z890-Creator WiFi is filled to the brim with features, and has a great layout with logically placed components and connectors. There is a whopping five NVMe slots, with one of them being PCIe 5.0-based for extra speedy storage, and the rest of them PCIe 4.0-based being no slouch. There are solid connectivity options with lots of USB ports in the back and more support for the front, with two USB Type-C supporting Thunderbolt 5 and one supporting Thunderbolt 4. Additionally, the Realtek ALC1220P-based integrated audio performed well in our tests, and the connectivity options -- 10G Ethernet, 2.5G Ethernet, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4 -- will make sure what you want to connect will be connected using the latest standards. There is also extensive attention to detail that makes your life easier, like SSD quick release heatsinks, NVMe SSD tool-free mechanisms, improved graphics card locking latch, and single clip memory slots. Fire it up, the ProArt Z890-Creator WiFi has an excellent American Megatrends-based UEFI BIOS that gives tons of advanced configuration options, including powerful and comprehensive fan control options. The only thing I wish it had was more audio connectivity options. For about $490 at press time, the ASUS ProArt Z890-Creator WiFi is one of the more expensive options in the market today. What you will get, however, is a well-refined motherboard and 3 months subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud All Apps and Substance 3D, which is worth almost $500 by itself if you are going to put it all to good use.
