As far as the synthetics go, 3DMark06 gets quite interesting. The overall score for 3DMark06 default settings (1280x1024) with Asus' EN8800GTS 320MB is 8929 on our test system; 3720 points ahead of the Asus EAX1950PRO.
Results for SM2.0 subscore are also very interesting -- the Asus EN8800GTS 320MB obtained over twice the score as the Asus EAX1950PRO (ATI Radeon X1950 Pro).
For SM3.0/HDR tests, the subscore put forth by 3DMark06 was 3808 -- again, well ahead of the ATI Radeon X1950 Pro based Asus EAX1950PRO.
